We stayed in room 355 and found it functional. The fan and A/C worked. It was great having 24/7 hot water. The room was spacious with a sitting area, desk, tv, refrigerator and a balcony overlooking the pool. We ate most of our meals on site and the daily variety, taste and quality was quite good. I enjoyed the pool and one end is shallow and more kid friendly. All of the staff we encountered was friendly from the front desk, to meals servers.

Worst stay I must say. I stayed with my family for 2nights . We booked 2 rooms 374/376. Rooms were very dirty . On room walls insects ( makdi) are moving . On walls dust is there. Washroom tiles were broken and from tham broken parts moving insects coming in room floor. Television in one room is working . In breakfast cold puri's were served . When asked for hot puri and all they denied . Bad smell is coming from rooms . We asked for room sprays daily.. **The good thing was dinner. We ordered pure veg food and good and tasty food served as per our needs **. In one ro normal dirty blanket was there when we asked for white quilt they said wo nhi milega. When we argued they provided the same

Visited for one night. The rooms are clean and quiet spacious. Hot water in bathroom was available even at night . Ac was not working in our room and despite multiple complaints nothing happened. You can opt for this hotel if you get a deal online or tight on budget. Location is good. Pictures online are too old.

Stayed at the Alor Grande in Candolim for 2 weeks. After 1 day a party of 100+ Indians arrived from a call centre in Mumbai, they literally took over the hotel. My partner and her daughter were sunbathing round the pool. The Indian men were openly ogling them in their bikinis, taking photographs of them and even sitting on the end of their sunbeds. They felt so intimidated that they never used the pool area again. The pool area itself quickly became filthy there were empty cans, bottles and chocked ashtrays all over, even in the bushes. When this party left another arrived and it all started again. The hotel left a lot to be desired,it was not very clean and the toilet seat in out bathroom was stuck down.To add insult to injury my partner discovered that it was possible to see into our shower from outside. The hotel staff did there best but they were overwhelmed. The swimming pool was unusable(even had we wanted to) because there was a scum of dirty oil floating on the surface. It was not cleaned during our stay.Breakfast was horrible when you could get it and service non existent.I have been travelling to Goa for over 30 years and have never had such an awful hotel.I suggest that people avoid it like the plague.
